Machine model SIRIO, consisting of a strong frame made of electro-welded iron, has been designed for the application of adhesive protective film on profiles of different kinds and dimensions.

It is essentially composed by two rubbered rollers suitable for the transport of material to be protected and by coil holders for the support of adhesive film rolls.

The operation consists of positioning a sheet or panel on the idle roller benches at the entry of the machine and pushing it manually against the 2 rubbered rollers which activated by a motor, carry the material to the zone of adhesive film application on the surface/s.

The pneumatically-driven brake adjustment enables a better tensioning of the film uncoiled from the coil holder. By means of a balancing roller put in contact directly with the uncoiled film it is possible to avoid wrinkling on the protected surface(s).

The pressure adjustment of the roller for the application of adhesive film is by means of a special pneumatic adjustment device. The mechanic adjustment is by means of micrometric handwheel that enables the contact change between the two rollers according to the thickness of the material to be protected.

The application of idle roller benches at the entry and at the exit of the machine permits to get a correct and comfortable working plan.
