The packaging machine mod. SATURNO was designed for the automatic wrapping for surface protection of aluminium extusions in different size.

The machiine consists of two machines placed "in line" in order to carry out the working cycle in the most rational and fast way:

THE WRAPPING MACHINE, with two rolls of paper or polythene to protect the profiles. It is possible to adjust the tensioning of the protective material operating the suitable clutches, and by means of the electronic speed variators one can control the feeding speed in order to regulate the overlap of the protective material. This part can be in two different version: Little, for normal dimension of profiles, and Big, which allows the height regulation of wrapping ring to obtain a perfect distribution of protective material on every dimensions of profiles.

THE TAPING MACHINE, where adhesive tape seals the extremity of profiles. Also this machine can be in two different version: Fixed (when the extremity of profiles is in correct point, the profiles stop for taping operations), and Mobile, which allows a continuous production without stops.

The working cycle is controlled by the electronic system, interfaced by a control panel with screen showing all the information and parameters to allow a simple and rational use of the machinery, together with diagnostic alarms to notify eventual anomalies.
